Dr. Vargas grew up in Atlanta, Georgia, but has also lived in Wisconsin, Michigan, and California.
After completing residency and fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco, he became double boarded in Anesthesiology and Interventional Pain Management. Following training, he served as a Senior Staff Physician in the Department of Anesthesiology, Pain Management, and Perioperative Medicine at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, MI, prior to returning to California.
He currently practices anesthesia and pain management with an individualized, multimodal approach to patient care emphasizing lifestyle modifications while providing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
